David Walter Lech is known most notably for his work as Cinematographer on the films 'Little Feet' (2013), 'A Lovely Day' (2012), 'Kunjo' (2009), and 'The Wind and the Water' (Sundance World Dramatic Competition, 2008). 'Little Feet,' written and directed by American indie film hero Alexandre Rockwell, premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize at the 2013 Mar Del Plata International Film Festival in Argentina.

Lech is the sole screenwriter of 'Father' and co-writer of 'Betamax,' 'Western Interior Seaway,' and the trilogy 'The Ballad of Pooja,' with his collaborator and wife Terrie Samundra, who is an alum of the Sundance Institute's Screenwriter's Lab for their screenplay "Betamax." He is an active member of the Writer's Guild of America and has written original and adapted work for other directors and producers.
